Using the information on page 6 and 7 of your book and also on this WIKI, you are to write an advert, pretending that you are trying to sell the earth to an alien in the same way that we would sell a house.

Our Changing Planet

The two videos below are both about planet earth. Watch them and think about what they tell us about our world and how it is being changed.

The earth is constantly changing. It is being changed by natural forces of weathering and erosion but it is also being changed by us.

How have we changed our planet? Are all the changes we have made, bad ones? How have people made the world better?

What about the natural changes? Are these good or bad? Can we do anything to prevent them? Can we control them?

If you could travel into the future to 4013, what do you think the world would be like then?
